Over the last 2.5 years I have learned a lot as a founding partner of a design studio here in Milwaukee. I never imagined being CONSTANTLY busy from the beginning creating brand identity, packaging systems and advertising campaigns day in and day out. It was a fun ride and I’m happy I was able to experience it. But I am now ready to close that chapter.
While things were financially positive and the work kept coming in, I ultimately learned what I do and do not want in my career. I won’t get into details as I don’t feel it’s necessary. I do want to wish the other founding members the best of luck in the future and hope nothing but happiness and positivity for them.
While my next plan was to pursue full-time freelance on my own, I told my wife that if I were to get a full-time job, it would have to be something pretty amazing and have to be the right fit. Well, a few weeks after I made that statement, Harley-Davidson reached out to me asking if I would be interested in a job. Most would say dream job. I would agree. So, Monday I start my new full-time job as Stylist of Paint and Graphics at H-D! I honestly haven’t been this excited to start a new job probably ever. Anyway, wish me luck! ✌️
P.S: I will still be doing SOME freelance on the side on my nights and weekends, but I will be more selective on what I take on and how much. I need a healthy brain, ya know?
